Peanut Sate

the best thing I ever received from my first boyfriend is his mom's peanut sate recipe. Deligthfully simple, deliciously good. I'd suggest marinating overnight. Pre-cut the veggies too. Then, this becomes a ridiculously easy meal to make. The only bear to cooking this is amassing all the stock ingredients. After that, there's no excuse not to make it often.

1 lb boneless chicken
*3 tablespoons soy sauce
*2 tablespoons sesame oil
*1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (or chili garlic sauce, which is what I use)
*2 tablespoons sugar
*1 clove garlic minced (omit if using CGS)
*2 teaspoons cornstarch

1/2 cup H2O
1/4 cup peanut butter

1. slice meat into strips/chunks and marinate in starred items
2. stir fry in skiller until cooked thru
3. make more marinade (so, starred items again) + H2O + peanut butter and heat to a boil until thick [be careful, tho, b/c it can burn easily]
4. serve meat w/sauce, stir fry veggies, rice/noodles

can use beef, pork, prawns, or tofu in place of chicken
