3/4 cup dry oatmeal, finely ground in a handchopper or processor
2 tablespoons honey [preferably raw or unpasteurized]
Enough milk to form a paste
Mix ingredients together until you have a paste that's just a bit more wet then cookie dough. Rub on to face and leave for 15/20 minutes, or however long you like. Rinse off and pat face dry.
I have severely dry skin, especially in the winter, so I'm really careful of what cleansers/scrubs I use. Usually I use St.Ives Apricot Scrub, but my face is tight and dry after I use it. I even scrubbed this mix on to my skin with my scrubby-gloves, and after I rinsed it off my face was smooth and not dry at all. [I keep touching it because I'm so surprised at how soft and smooth I am!]
I also dumped the left-over face mixture in to my bath and soaked in that for awhile. I think I'm going to do this more often ;)
